Entering the facility

Entering the facility is part of AAI work.

All teams need to enter the main entrance before starting AAI session. Sometimes the journey throu the corridors is short and easy, and sometimes it takes time, energy and effort to make it.

For most of the teams entering the facility is connected with some kind of stress. The dog is aroused, as nice/excited things will happen. The handler is thinking about what can happen, how the dog will perform, what mood the patients will be in… The intervention is not started yet, so often we do not consider entering the facility as a working time. The truth is, that inside the facility building, or even in front of it, both the dog and the handler are at work.

To make this part of AAI work easier, we have prepared some tips – download the PDF to know them
