Training manual skills with patients
I really like to use everyday doggie things to empower my training with patients. Elderly people love to feed the dog, so to train manual (and cognitive!) skills I am using different small boxes with food. Their task is to figure out how to open the box (unscrew, unfasten, slide apart, open...). It is much more interesting and motivating for the patients than doing some training without the dog!
