What do we do if the dog becomes stressed or too aroused (1/3)
When the dog is too aroused there is some tools we can use to help the dog to calm down. I will go through three different methods we can use in these situations.
When the dog is too aroused, it would be nice for him to use his nose to look for, for example, treats, it activates the dog's "seeking system". The "seeking system" initiate positive emotions in the dog. Let the dog spend time looking for the treats, after a while you will see that the dog calms down and becomes more relaxed in the situation.
